Enthusiasm, perseverance, professional seriousness and dedication are the unforgotten values of Lidio Poian, the artisan-entrepreneur who, 68 years ago, founded the Lidio Poian Company.<\/p>\n
Today, the Company is a distinguished establishment in the field of high precision machining, and moves forward relying on the professionalism and the skills of all its employees, keeping the respect and dignity of people at the greatest consideration, and committing itself to contribute to the community as well as to the technical and economic improvement.<\/p>\n
Wishing to pay homage to the man Lidio Poian, today the Simoni\u2019s family offers a contribution for one student willing to undertake a two (or more) months study program abroad, for the preparation of their Thesis or for other research programs within Governmental Agencies, Universities or Private Companies.<\/p>\n
To be eligible to the contribution, the student must:<\/p>\n
Be enrolled to the course \u201cLaurea Magistrale\u201d at the \u201cPolitecnico di Torino\u201d in one of the courses of \u201cLaurea in Ingegneria\u201d \u201cAerospaziale\u201d, \u201cAutoveicolo\u201d, \u201cBiomedica\u201d, \u201cChimica\u201d, \u201cElettrica\u201d, \u201cEnergetica\u201d, \u201cMateriali\u201d, \u201cMeccanica\u201d, \u201cMeccatronica\u201d or \u201cTessile\u201d;<\/p>\n
Have been resident for at least one year (and still be resident) in the \u201cCentro Universitario Villa San Giuseppe\u201d in Torino at the time of submission of the application.<\/p>\n
The contribution will be assigned based on mention from the \u201cDirezione del Centro Universitario\u201d, and after authorization from the \u201cConsiglio Direttivo dell\u2019Associazione Ex Allievi VSG\u201d.<\/p>\n
If no eligible applicants can be found, the contribution will be granted to the scholarship fund of the \u201cAssociazione Ex Allievi VSG\u201d.<\/p>\n
